Services may include: individual, group or familytherapy and providing crisis de-escalation/stabilization. May work withindividuals and their families in various settings, including:outpatient, inpatient, home or community-based environments. Will provideprofessional interpretation and analysis of clinical data and assessment toformulate an individualized service plan, a comprehensive summary ofcare, treatment and diagnosis. This clinical role is responsible fornavigating the treatment needs of the client, referring to internal andexternal resources as appropriate and aligning care outcomes. Help change lives at Employer Youth and FamilyService.SummaryThis position provides medically necessary mental health treatment servicesincluding assessment, program design, monitoring and supervision tochildren and adolescents experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, andpsychiatric problems.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluates behavioral and emotional issues of children and adolescents anddevelops specific behavior modification treatment plan.Provides individual, family, and group counseling under direction of anappropriate clinicalsupervisor as required and in accordance with the clients' individualizedtreatment plan.Conducts psycho-educational assessments under the direction of an appropriateclinical supervisor.Observes and documents treatment interventions, behavior and clientprogression.Assists with direct supervision of clients and interacts therapeutically asrequired.Interprets treatment objectives and assists treatment staff members to provideintegrated services.Participates in conferences for the discussion of behavior, diagnosis andclient progression as a member of the treatment planning team.Develops treatment plans and treatment plan updates.Participates in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation activities forthe performance improvement program.Develops and maintains a current list of resources that includes self-help andself-support groups to ensure comprehensive services to the clients and theirfamilies.Adheres to departmental policies and procedures to ensure regulatorycompliance with current departmental practices and meet guidelines as outlinedby outside licensing and referral agencies.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirementsand reporting procedures.Identifies and pursues in-service and continuing educational needs, suggestsgeneral training needs for the facility and submits suggestions for trainingto appropriate supervisory and administrative staff members.Attends staff meetings and conferences.Supports the company's philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven KeyPrinciples of care.Performs other duties as required.Minimum RequirementsMaster's degree in human services field and one (1) year relatedex
