Sutter Health Physical Therapist II in Castro Valley, California

Position Overview:

The Physical Therapist II assesses, plans, organizes and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or maintain individuals' mobility and function, for persons with movement disorders or deficits resulting from illness, injury, disability, or disease.


Education, Licensures and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred

  • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS upon hire required

  • California Physical Therapist - PT upon hire required


  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Physical Therapist with 2 years in the relevant therapy setting required

  • Minimum 6 years experience as a Physical Therapist if <2 years in the relevant setting required
