Position Summary:The Addiction Therapist Supervisor provides supervision to Addiction Therapists. The domain of clinical supervision includes counselor development, professional and ethical standards, program development and quality assurance and performance evaluation. The supervisor will maintain a client caseload size relative to job responsibilities. Monitors and ensures quality of clinical services.

LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital

DEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency

SCHEDULE: Days/EveningsKey Responsibilities:Conducts individual and group supervisory activities that promote clinical and program service improvement.Communicates department policies and procedures to supervisees and monitors for compliance.Monitors staff productivity and compliance with medical record requirements and regulatory requirements..Conducts performance evaluations based on quantitative and qualitative data.Evaluates clinical competencies of staff based on research-based practice guidelines.Provides supervision to improve clinical outcomes such as enhancing client access, engagement and retention into treatment.Maintains a client caseload and completes medical record documentation within required time frame and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Participates and assists the coordinator in handling patient grievances and complaints.Maintains certification/licensure and is familiar with current literature related to recommended practices in substance disorder treatment and clinical supervision.Facilitates patient staffing and case conferences, as designated by the Coordinator.For Evaluator Team only: off-site and in-home delivery of services to clients and families.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a Master’s degree required in Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Social Work or the alike in a Human Service field.Minimum of three years of clinical experience in chemical dependency, which can include internship.Prior supervisory experience preferred.Required Licensure / Certification Skills:QHP as defined by OASAS.ACT program and Evaluator Team:Valid New York State Driver's License.Appproved driving record (no major or capital violations within last 5 years.Completion of mandatory driver education upon employment.Participation in NYS LENS program.Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSS - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
