Behavioral Health Family Therapist - AutismRequisition ID2021-27841CategoryBehavioral HealthOverviewBehavioral Health Family Therapist - AutismThe Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) Outpatient Family Therapist is responsible for the clinical assessment, mental health treatment and clinical care of children, adolescents and caregivers for clients of CASD. This individual is responsible for the ability to use family, group, individual, and child guidance/parent-child therapy modalities appropriately, flexibly, and creatively. The CASD Outpatient Family Therapist will also possess the ability to provide consultation and collaboration regarding family-centered interventions within a multi-disciplinary team setting. This individual will provide culturally competent services in all areas. A Place to Be ProudResponsibilitiesProvides direct services to families using the most appropriate family therapy treatment modalities, including but not limited to Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Structural Family Therapy techniques.Meets regularly with Team Leader or Clinical Manager.Attends routine staff meetings.Participates and or provides input to appropriate committees and team meetings.Maintains quality assurance standards which include timely and accurate record keeping.Attends in-service training, peer review and other intra-agency and supervisory activities.Participates in staff development or conferences to maintain appropriate licensure and credentialing. Maintains productivity standards.Provides timely statistical data for computerized accounting of billable activities.Provides diagnostic information for reporting of treatment outcomes. Strives to maintain positive patient satisfaction. Engages in effective interprofessional collaboration with other systems such as community agencies or providers to achieve best outcomes. Provides feedback to referral sources as appropriate. Participates in culturally diverse programs sponsored by NCHGC or community. Supports the philosophy, goals and mission of Nationwide Children's Hospital Guidance Centers and Nationwide Children's Hospital. Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Clinical Manager.QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Education:Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited university or professional school.
