Therapist Physical PRN - Women's Care (Job ID: 4875)Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, plans, organizes and implements specifictreatment programs for individual patients according to the principles andpractices of physical therapy. Coordinates care of patients in collaborationwith healthcare professionals, family and caregiver. Utilizes experience andeducation to provide support for program development, performanceimprovement, and student /workforce education. Assists in the safe,efficient and high quality operation of Rehabilitation Services.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of theory, principles andpractice of physical therapy. Knowledge of safety principles in patient careenvironment. Knowledge of standards, polices and procedures of Denver Healthas they pertain to physical therapy. Ability to integrate requirements of thefacility and/or regulatory agencies into clinical decisions anddocumentation. Demonstrates competency for physical therapy treatmentmethods, techniques and approaches per professional, start and agencystandards. . Ability to meet physical requirements of job classification(lift, pull/push, carry, transfer patients, etc...) Ability toabide by the ethical guidelines as outlined by the American Physical TherapyAssociation. Current Physical Therapist License in the State of Colorado.EducationEducation: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required. If degree wascompleted prior to 2015, Masters degree in Physical Therapy required.Experience: One year experience.
