Rehab services are provided across the continuum at Community Medical Centers, including a Neuroscience Center and Primary Stroke Center, Joint Replacement Center of Excellence, Level III NICU, and the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center. In this position, you will work in the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center, a 28-bed inpatient rehab facility located within Community Regional Medical Center. Here, you will provide therapy to patients recovering from conditions including stroke and other neurologic disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and trauma. Our staff is a balanced mix of seasoned clinicians, recent graduates and everything in between. Growth. ## Responsibilities: In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to: * Identification of signs and symptoms that signal appropriateness for PT examination and examination, evaluation, planning, organizing, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients. * Participates in case conferences and discharge planning. * Develops and implements developmentally and culturally appropriate education to meet needs of patient and family. * Supervises PT Assistants and rehab therapy aides. * Coordinates/supervises student clinical educational experience. ## Qualifications: Experience and education minimum requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
