OPS Rehabilitation Therapist – Lifeguard

Serves as a lifeguard for Tacachale water activities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and performs water rescues if necessary, in pool, fresh, or salt water.

Possesses and maintains current American Red Cross (or equivalent) lifeguard certification. Must have this certification upon hire.

Provides a monthly basic water safety course (materials will be provided) for Tacachale staff in a classroom setting.

Conducts recreational activities (fitness and leisure walking, basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, yoga, etc.) for the residents of Tacachale when water or boating activities are not conducted.

Attends all mandatory training as required by Tacachale.

Performs other related duties as required.

Lifeguards will work Tuesdays through Saturdays, 25 hours a week.

Hours will be determined based on facility needs and may vary each week.

Schedules will be determined two (2) weeks in advance.
