Chestnut Health Systems Family Therapist / Full-time in Granite City, Illinois
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Drug Court Family Therapist for our Granite City, IL facility, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas. Some evenings may be required.

Provide individual, family, and group counseling to clients and families involved in our adult substance use programs.
Conduct diagnostic and assessment evaluations and place clients in the appropriate level of care.
Develop Master Treatment Plans and complete continuing care plans with clients.
Provide regular presentations to family members on behavioral health information.
Demonstrate flexibility in schedule so as to meet families when they are available, including some possible evening hours.
Actively recruit family members who are not involved by calling, sending letters, utilizing probation, etc.
Maintain records of client and all services provided within assigned program in a timely fashion and according to policies.
Reflect a client-centered, strength-based approach to clinical work with family.
Demonstrate healthy and appropriate professional boundaries with clients/families and co-workers.
Communicate regularly with other staff regarding particular family issues and/or progress.
Demonstrate consistent compliance with program structure and policies.
Attend court meetings as needed for Drug Court services.
Provide court testimony when requested.
Meet or exceed productivity expectations as determined by supervisor.
Attend and participate in all program and staff meetings as assigned.
Participate in program and staff development activities.
Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have a master’s degree in a human services field and obtain certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) or obtain licensure as an LCPC, LCSW or LMFT within two (2) years’ of hire.
Must be certified in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and Community Reinforcement Approach Family Training (CRAFT) within two (2) years’ following CRA training.
Experience working with families preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.
Requires basic computer skills and experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
