Job Responsibilities

Provides therapeutic massage in a clinical or community setting.

Collects and maintains individual client files.

Provides guidance with program management.

Maintains clinical environment.

Completes assigned goals.

Job Summary

Oversees the development, maintenance, rehabilitation, or augmentation of physical function and overall sense of well-being through the provision of therapeutic massage treatments for the relief or prevention of muscle tension, stress, chronic muscle soreness due to injury or inactivity, or for enhancement of lymphatic circulation. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health, and healing. Provision of Massage therapy to 6-10 clients (5-6 hours) per 8 hour day. Completion of routine paperwork and charges on a daily basis. Assistance with scheduling, dept maintenance, financial collections, and reports. Assistance with ancillary rehabilitation department and clerical services as qualified. Incumbent is subject to overtime. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate verbally with other employees, physicians and other professionals. Must have ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
