Job Duties:

  • Identifies residents and patients within SNF who could benefit from therapy and reports same to supervising therapist or to FRD.

  • Activities participates in gathering information on facility patients and residents in a timely manner, in accordance as directed by supervising therapist and applicable company policy, contractual, licensure and regulatory guidelines.

  • Establishes treatment schedules in accordance with SNF /HH / OP and FRD.

  • Efficiently provides treatment in a safe and effective manner according to the directions of the supervising therapist, and in accordance with standards of practice and applicable regulations.

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (new grad PTAs are welcome!)

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license

  • Ability to practice physical therapy unencumbered within state and federal guidelines

  • Passion for aiding and working with the elderly

  • Experience working in skilled nursing
