Currently recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in Lake City, Florida to practice in a 91-bed comprehensive care facility offering medical and surgical programs including 24-hour emergency care, heart care, orthopedics, cancer care, imaging, and rehabilitation services. The Hospital is the area's ONLY Accredited Chest Pain Hospital and the only facility to offer interventional cardiology. Job Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist :
Under general supervision, the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) will perform all respiratory care related duties.
Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Respiratory Therapists are expected to be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
Job Qualifications of the Registered Respiratory Therapist :
Current Florida state license.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Will look at new grads!
Registered** not certified.
Prefer FL License or willing to get it.
Compensation of the Registered Respiratory Therapist :
Salary: Up to $22 - $30.54 based on years of experience.
Sign On: Night Shift bonus $10K
Relocation: Case by case basis.
Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
