Our modern professional clinic provides a comfortable setting for your counseling and medication services.Position Summary & MissionOur Team is looking for a friendly and professional Therapist I or II for the Adult Outpatient department at Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare.The Therapist I will assist adults at Greater Lakes' outpatient services in their journey toward their personal recovery and wellness.Our average caseload for a Therapist I is 60 clients.The Therapist I would provide individualized, person-centered clinical case management and therapy. Including the following:*Counseling*Psycho-education*Leading group sessions*Educational/vocational support*Housing assistance*Crisis stabilization*Assistance with medical, community and natural resources.The Therapist I will also partner with clients, their families, and significant others in obtaining, maintaining, and using appropriate mental health/community resources. Additional goals would be providing counseling to help clients re-establish self-identity, sense of purpose and meaning in their lives, by developing plans for work, school, and/or volunteering, and making community connections.Greater Lakes assists with providing licensure supervision at no cost to the employee. Individuals proficient in a second language are encouraged to apply and receive a 5% bonus.Responsibilities* Use effective clinical case management skills to assure appropriate client-centered care.* Complete all clinical and administrative documentation in a timely, accurate manner.* Manage all clinical and documentation functions in ways that meet department productivity goals.* Provides individualized, person-centered clinical case management services including therapy, assessments, child and family teams, psycho-education, groups, educational and/or vocational support, outreach, crisis stabilization, and assistance with medical, community, and natural supports* Provides one-on-one counseling and community resource informationQualifications* Therapist 1- Must have a Bachelor's degree in a mental health related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least two years post bachelors experience in the direct treatment of mental health issues or a Master's degree in a mental health related field, which included a clinical internship.* Therapist II - Master's degree in a mental health related field plus two years of mental health experience under the direction of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and must be a recognized Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC 388-865-0150/RCW 71.05.020.* Familiarity with the DSM-V and ability to apply diagnostic criteria.* Knowledge of community resources* Knowledge of and experience in using Motivational Interviewing preferred* Experience working with the publicly-funded mental health system preferred* E
