  • Position Overview:

    The purpose of the Occupational Therapist is to do all that's needed to provide exceptional therapy to children and families.


  • Current Kentucky licensure in Occupational Therapy

  • NBCOT certification‚Ä™

  • Desire to work in a team approach to therapy

  • One or more years of pediatric experience

  • Motivated by targets and goals

  • Stable work history and attendance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with or desire to learn Telehealth

  • CPR and First Aid Certification

  • The ability to work in a physically active environment and treat children on the floor as needed

    Accountability and Performance Measures:

  • Supports the Marshall Pediatric Therapy mission by: "Helping Families Build Skills for Life."

  • Provides treatment for children with a variety of diagnoses, ages 3-21 years

  • Maintains and manages a full-time caseload for a Target of 72.5% productivity.

  • Communicates effectively to parents and c ollaborates with team members

  • Demonstrate any HEP strategies for the family

  • Strives to be educated and knowledgeable on the latest diagnoses and treatment

  • Contacts collateral sources as needed (parents, family members, school staff, etc.) to discuss treatment and obtain information regarding patient care

    Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily charges by the end of the working day and submits completed daily notes within 24-48 hours of the visit

  • Completes timely Progress Notes, Re-assessments, and Annual Assessments based on Marshall Pediatric Therapy Discipline Guidelines

  • Manages therapy schedules assisting the Front Office Administrators

  • Tracks productivity and makes adjustments to caseloads as needed to sustain targets
