They are responsible for implementing respiratory care based on expanded knowledge and experience, delivering patient care in complex, multiple problem patient care situations, patient, family/support system education, coordination of activities, staff development, and professional and self-developmental activities.

Required Minimum Education
- Graduate of AMA approved therapist training program; Qualifying for the NBRC Registry Exam and credential of RRT (BS degree preferred)
Required Minimum Experience
Must possess a minimum of one (1) year experience; preferably experience in both neonatal and adult critical care areas
Registered (RRT) by the NBRC is required
Active certification/licensure pursuant to the Georgia Respiratory Care Practice Act is required
