We want you to apply now!In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the health care team the Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, recording and implementing a treatment plan to achieve the goals of the patient as it relates to strength and mobility. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and department outcomes.What you will do in this role:You will diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities through the determined treatment planYou will work to restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and healthYou will provide education to the patient/family and effectively document the therapy processYou will communicate and collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team including other therapists, physicians and nurses to best treat the patientQualificationsGraduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy is requiredMust be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state which you practice, in accordance with law and regulationA current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is requiredLymphedema Certified or certification in process preferredIn 2018, Memorial Health University Medical Center affiliated with HCA Healthcare (South Atlantic Division), one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services.
