This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Education/Experience: * Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy * Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: * Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy * Recommend membership in related professional organization. * Clinical Specialists require national certification in specialty area by professional organization. Additional Information We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our small team of therapists at the Melrose Center. Melrose Center specializes in the treatment of men, women, and children with eating disorders and co-morbid mental health diagnoses. The physical therapist is responsible for managing a case-load of clients, planning and leading groups (including virtual), participating in program development, and working amongst a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. A high level of initiative, self-directed learning, and effective communication are essential for this position. Although experience in mental health is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate. This position may require infrequent coverage for all Melrose Center locations (St. Louis Park, Burnsville, Woodbury, Maple Grove, and St. Paul sites) and includes variable evening and possible holiday and weekend hours.
