Provides services and assessments in accordance with professional standards and requirements of licensing/accrediting bodies. Develops & implements psychosocial activities. Documents both group and individual patient care intervention and outcomes in a timely manner.
A. Education: Master’s degree in a mental health field such as Social Work or Counseling required.
Minimum of one year in a social work or related field required and greater than two years of work experience in an inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric setting working with dually diagnosed patients is preferred. Demonstrates working knowledge of current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, community resources, discharge planning, basic leadership skills, and decision making-ability.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required. LAC, LSW, MFT will be considered when under the supervision of an Inspira approved clinical supervisor (supervision hours are uncompensated). Clinical license must be obtained within 4 years of hire. If not acquired within that timeframe the employee will have 90 days to transfer/apply for other positions or sever employment with Inspira. Per Diem LCSW, LPC & LMFT therapists will have the option to choose an hourly rate of pay or the established encounter rate. Current BLS American Heart Association preferred but required within introductory period.
